I wondering if Coolmenus3 can be set up like Coolmenus2. I made a page with Coolmenu2 with the DCage modifications and everything works perfect. In Netscape, coolmenus3 has a few problems.
First, the mouse cursor doesn't stay as a pointer when you mouseover the links. With Coolmenu2 it does. Also, the mouseover effect doesn't work, the text won't change colors, it just stays the same. With Coolmenus2, it does. Also, there is a problem with the cellpadding in Netscape. Otherwise, I love the Coolmenus3, but I need to resolve these issues before I can use it.
I'm not a programmer, but it sounds like it wouldn't be to difficult to incorporate the Coolmenus2 features I talked about into Coolmenus3. Anyone have any ideas.

True. But only over the links. Not over the entire "square", right? You could fake this by adding a link around your text when making the elements.

Actually it doesn't. But I think that DCage made a version with that modification. That effect involves writing to the layer in Netscape and it tends to be a little unstable if it's done to many times.

The styles no longer applies to NS4.

The reason most of these things are removed or just not there is because NS4 is a pretty unstable browser and I want to be sure that it doesn't crash under any circumstances.

I will have a look at the mouseover effect since I haven't actually tried that after changing the way the menus where created in NS4. And if it's stable I'll keep it in there.

Not sure what you meant by this.."add link around text when making element"

Could you give me an example..
