Version 2 is working fine:

Really? Damn. I'll have to check that out, I don't really have any unix machines to check with though. Anyone have any clue what this could be?

Me too; I barely have to touch coolmenus3
menus and Navigator 4.75 is gone (Linux
Mandrake 7.1). I use VMWare to test that my
Perl/Html looks right under different
systems and browsers - works well but is
$300+, or ~3000 Nkr. I dont know Javascript
well, but if you can recommend something I
can do which will give you clues, please
let me know.

Sorry to spoil the fun, but also sometimes get the crashes with Netscape 4.7. I am running Windows98 Second Edition.
Internet Explorer 5 runs so smoothly you would mistake it as a OS menu!!
Thats the only problem which I have with the script, at times it crashes, says something like:-
Netscape.exe has caused an illegal....
This only happens when I use version 3 of the menu.
Other than that, the script runs great on IE!

Perhaps a clue: netscape does not crash if
I move the mouse over the menu options very
slowly; but at normal speed, it dies right
away.
