pagescroll-script with external documents

Does anyone know how to use the pagescroll-script ( http://www.dhtmlcentral.com/script/script5.asp ) with external documents being selected instead of different layers? To see what I mean, check out the example on http://www.dansteinman.com/dynduo/examples/source2-change.html , and the article on http://www.dansteinman.com/dynduo/en/source.html (unfortunately that script doesn't work with NS6).
