Still learning CSS and scripting. Any ideas would be appreciated. You'll need to use IE...NS users will get my old site.

<hint>I'd post this on the "site check" board...if this forum had one </hint>
Would be nice to see the site without having to give my name. Otherwise very nice site.

neat site!
jacobus is right though...the name thing is rather unnecessary..(is that a reason u want us to type our names 2 view the site?)
i just typed any letter and still entered ur site...
anyway...job well done..

The name thing is the start of a cookie for the page. Once it's done, the cookie will store user info, background and music preferences, download history...and if it's one of my clients they will land directly on their login screen.
I thought it was dam good!!!, and didn't mind the login. Wish I could find time to work with just IE..

This design is very cool - shows off your talent, minimal glitches. My only peeve:
The chromeless window that opened was smaller than the login page. That might even be cool "fullscreen" since it is IE only.

If you hit the site at 800x600 you'll get the csame size chromeless, and it will look much better. When I'm done with the layout (mostly top & bottom bars and background images) all resolutions will get a fullscreen chromeless, but your taskbar won't get covered up. (I got a lot of complaints about that on my last full screen site.)

Just wondering, but why do you have so many different pages for detecting Flash, Moniter Resolution, and then Browser version?
Couldn't you just do this all on one page?
Other than that cool side, I like the smaller chromeless windows which are transparent.

One of the redirects is because I'm too cheap to pay for webspace. The first page you land on (flashplayer check) is on the free space my ISP gives me. The second redirect is browser type, the third resolution. I like to keep the browser and res check separate because I change my site constantly, and it seems to make for easier editing.

I guess it depends on the nature of your clients' businesses. Most of mine are nightclub and entertainment related, and they want lots of visual and function effects on their sites. Since Netscape is such a dog when it comes to JS, I tend to build a lightweight netscape version and a full blown IE version. On the netsacpe version there is a little message singing the praises of IE, and explaining the download process. I know this would be simply unacceptable for some clients, but most of mine seem pretty happy with the idea.
For what it's worth...of the 62 sites I actively track stats on not one of them shows more than 5% netscape users.
Everyone is bandying about Full Screen.
Dont do it. I beg you.
There is nothing more iritating than having the browser open full screen and taking over your computer.
I cannot stand having to alt-tab (sorry Im a windows user) to get back to the original site.
I beg of you, dont sucumb to the view (in the design community) that Full Screen is slick and pretty - to 99% of users its obnoxious and frustrating.
Otherwise I dig your site - very cool. If only I had time to learn new tricks!.

This was cool !
I think also that you dont have to force fullscreen. You can include thought this option for those users who may like to have !
well done :)

I'm keeping away from the fullscreen. I'm reworking the chromeless script to get rid of the title bar, but I don't want to cover up the user's taskbar. I find that to be the annoying part of fullscreen sites.
Nice Site monkeypants, I love that Beastie Boys clip :)

Thanks for the compliment. The loop is part of a remix a freind of mine did for a single release of "Sure Shot". Let me know if you want the mp3.
