I did this site last autum using Dan Steinman's DynAPI and I just upgraded it using DynAPI 2 (http://dynapi.sourceforge.net). If I would be as good as Thomas is obviously I wouldn't be using such components.

The site is totally dynamic meaning all the images on the site have been uploaded by the photographer (which is not me, unfortunately) using web interface.

For uploading images I used SoftArtisans SA-FileUp and database is just simpple MS Access 2000 where image paths are stored. Few months ago I changed to PureASPupload thanks to excellent tutorial by George Petrov in http://www.udzone.com/. PureASPupload is actually much faster and much more reliable. Although it might have been that there was something on wrong on my ISP's SA-FileUp installation.

Any comments would be highly apppreciated. Thank you.

I liked the overall layout and color scheme of your site. The only complaint that I have is about the navigation. The 5 pictures on the bottom right appear to be links. However, they never take me anywhere when I click them. After I click on one of those 5 pictures, a box will appear around it and the mousover text no longer works.

Site looks good, just needs a little fine tuning.

Images on the bottom are actually dragable and next to the images is the box which says "drag here". So, if you drag & drop any of the images on the target-box it should take to the gallery.

I know it's probably not a best navigation system in the world, but there's also alternative way to navigate using dropdown navigation.

I love it! :)

I like the colorscheme and the layout too, it's a solid design that does justice to the photography being presented.

I thought the navigation was quite clear, since you actually have a box that says 'navigation' in bold black text on a white background

I really liked it, would you think it's ok if I put your link in the resources of DHTMLCentral under 'cool sites'?

I'll try to give some critique about things that look not yet finished.. The dragdrop nav seems to take me everywhere but the selection I made...

The frontpage doesn't completely fit on an 800x600 screen. I understand if you don't like to support 640x480 but 800x600 is about half of all internet users, with a slightly greater part in non-western countries. Come on, show them everything too...

Could you add cursor:default to the style for the text that follows the cursor? That's just a small detail but it's relatively easy to fix

See you!

I definitely wouldn't mind. Thanks very much.

On the earlier version I used different cursors quite a lot, like drag-cursor for dragable boxes. Now I changed the floating textbox cursor to default/arrow. Small detail as you said but it looks better. Cheers.

According to [url="http://www.thecounter.com/stats/2001/July/res.html"]the counter[/url:5sbnsgmsnc] the point about screen resolution is well taken. I must admit I've been a bit greedy, I see if I can do something about that...

love ur site ; )

ur color scheme blends well with ur site...

just one thing...ur loading seems sluggish at best...i clicked on a thumbnail image and the popup image took forever to load...for a moment..i thought ur small images were not clickable since nothing happened for a long time...

but aside from loading speed...the site looks great : )
excellent job done...
