getting a table to have submit buttons with no spa

there is a space at the bottom of the table after the submit buttons and i cannot get it to go away....does anyone know how to?

Try using notepad to erase any unwanted html tags which may be corrupting the layout. With a site design like that, you'll know what I'm on about. <img src=icon_smile_wink.gif border=0 align=middle>
