Need script for NewsTicker - any ideas?

I want to add a NewsTicker on my website, allowing people to download it to their own sites. I've searched the web for tutorials and free downloads, but I can't find what I'm looking for.

What I want is a ticker simular to what you can find on f.i. www.bluessiden.com Not a ticker with scrolling text...

I am using some of Bratta's scripts on my site (THANK YOU!), and I kinda hoped he had a script for this feature here...

Does anyone have an idea of how to get this? I'm not a strong web developer... Without Bratta's tutorials my website would've been a disaster :)</font id='Arial'>

I visited dynamicdrive.com, but unfortunately I can't find what I'm looking for. They had 1 script that looked "familiar", but it wasn't crossbrowser compatible - it only worked for IE4++

I know that the script I want is based on JavaScript, but it also seem like I need the script to load a .cdf file. I feel lost :) I find lots of scripts that works like f.i. the NewsTicker from www.aftenposten.no But I've got stucked with the idea that I don't want a scrolling ticker :)

I guess I still have to search the web...
