Menu stops working when some page appears

Hi ,
I am using CoolMenu3 example 14. First time its working fine. but , Let suppose i have menu item with text like
"oCMenu.makeMenu('sub00','top0','Newest news','http://www.yahoo.com','frmMain')"

When ever i click on Newest News link Yahoo page comes in my body frame, but after that each and every menu item stops responding.No scrolling , even i click on main menu it doesnt show submenu items , what is wrong going on .
Secondly can i set Gif image and menus background or not ?
