Sub Menu Alignment

My level 1 submenus are normally aligned 'left edge' to 'left edge' of the level 0 menu but if the level 1 submenu is to laon to fit in the ie window the level 1 submenus 'right edge' is aligned with 'left edge' of its level 0 menu and makes it dificult to navigate to.

Any way to fix this?
