stopped at the border

Hi, all, I am a total and complete newbie to this and am slowly figuring out how to use coolmenus with webgui. I've gotten the menu to look pretty much the way I want it except for a couple of things:

1. In a vertical menu, I'd like to change the border so that there is only a 1px line showing between the items and no border on the sides. I've got the no border on the sides, but I'd like to position the buttons so that they overlap by 1px so you don't see a double line between the items. It seems like this should be fairly simple, but I can't figure out how.

2. Where can I find info on how to turn on the arrows?

3. Is there a way to give this menu a relative position rather than absolute?

Boy, I tell you, asking for help on forums is like magic. As soon as I post a question, I figure out the answer. For question #1 anyway. Still would like to know about the other two.

Speaking of arrows, I finally found the instructions, but it's not working. Have any of you gotten them to work in WebGUI? Is there some special trick to getting them to show up? I've tried the full path from the root, the direct file name set in WebGUI, the full URL, the WebGUI macro. No joy.
