Step by step instructions for menu download & use?

I love the menus here and have seen a couple of them used on different sites. They look really nice. In particular, I like this menu: http://www.dhtmlcentral.com/projects...les/menu2.html

but after attempting to download a folder and reading about changing the root directory, and it still didn't work, I realized I was in over my head. Is there any place here that will break down the dowloading instructions (basically walk me through it dummy style) so I can customize this menu, as well as usage instructions so I can use it on a website?
